For as long as I have been in the linking business, year after year uninformed people tell me that backlinks don’t work anymore because Google said so. It get’s tiring fighting propaganda. So if you would, try this:

1. Go to https://www.google.com/
2. Search the keyword phrase: Click Here
3. The top result at the moment is get.adobe.com/reader/ {screenshot of search results}
4. Go to the adobe download page.
5. Look for the phrase: Click Here

You’ll notice it is not there. How can that be? Backlinks my friend. They work.
