Blogger’s that sell Worthless Links

I will add this to my new Stupid Bloggers category, along with my stupid bloggers post. Actually it should be stupid greedy bloggers but space is limited…
I came across this post today on how to block people from viewing your plugins directory so they can’t snitch on you to Google that you are a PAID LINK SELLER.
She writes:
“Well, remember that there are people who like to report paid links to Google’s snitch service. Some may know enough to load your plugin folder by typing http://yourpaidlinkblog.com/wp-content/plugins/ into their browser.”
The ironic thing about this post, as you get to the bottom, there are two Paid Links that stick out like a sore thumb labeled “Sponsored Ads”. It sure would be easier for those “Google Snitches” to find this blogger’s links by looking at the site rather than bothering to search the plugin folder. This site also is promoting ways to do sponsored posts that are written by bloggers to hide PAID LINKS from Google.
Whatever you do, do not buy posts or links on blogs that brag about how they sell links and hide it from Google. Sure these bloggers will take your money, but you won’t get any link juice in return.

Edit 10/1/2007: Due to this post, this site seems to have become a bit smarter about selling links so direct links to the blog have been removed.
What really bugs me is that the braggart link selling bloggers don’t get punished selling links, they only make more money. It’s the buyers that are purchasing worthless links from them that are taking the hit.
